Sr Manager – Shopify Developer

We’re seeking a Shopify Developer for a Sr Manager position, whose key responsibilities include completing web development projects, managing, and growing a team. This role requires strong leadership, as well as a seasoned commercial and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibility:

  • Working knowledge of the Shopify platform, as well as exposure to application development and the use of storefront APIs to extend Shopify functionality
  • Strong knowledge of liquid programming language and experience in development and application of custom/bespoke Shopify theme and modify pre-existing template(s)
  • Collaborating with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and responsive front-end user experiences
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address their specific needs and requirements at a moment’s notice
  • Understand business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation
  • Create and build tracking and conversion funnels and focus on improving business metrics in order to implement optimizations for eComm conversions
  • Recruit developers, coordinate their training, and encourage their advancement.
  • Proficiency in and understanding of best practices for HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/Jquery
  • Have experience in migrating the e-commerce ecosystem in Shopify, Integrating third-party systems and Shopify supported apps
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce principles and the associated technology/tools
  • Comfortable using version control systems (Bitbucket/GitHub)
  • The ability to use Shopify Plus features including scripts and flow to best utilize the front and back-end capabilities of the Shopify platform in building, launching and maintaining Shopify web-stores
  • Strong skills in MySQL, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, Web Services
  • Knowledge of additional platforms will be a plus
  • Strong Object Oriented Programming concepts

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Bootstrap is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Vue.js, SASS, Webpack, Gulp
  • Superb troubleshooting & debugging skills

Requirement:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a similar field
  • 5+ years of experience developing within the Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end technologies including, but not limited to, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, XML
  • Shopify Plus experience is a must
  • Possess strong leadership skills, including managing, coaching and mentoring a team
  • Strong hands-on experience in daily eComm execution and process optimization

Content Marketing Specialist

Role Description for Content Marketing Specialist:

  • Writing various types of content (blogs, video, website, social media) for some of the biggest brands in India.
  • Analyzing what kind of content is working through Google Analytics, Google Search Console.
  • Conceptualizing end-to-end content marketing strategies for brands of varying sectors including real estate, BFSI, B2B, Retail, Finance, etc.
  • Collaborating with the SEO team to increase blog traffic and ranking on page one of Google search results.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and goals and crafting customized and creative content marketing solutions for them.
  • Learning how to utilize social media advertising to promote content on LinkedIn and Facebook and YouTube
