Salesforce Marketing Cloud Project Manager

General Knowledge:

  • Functional expertise of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or any other Marketing Automation Platforms
  • Good understanding of end to end campaign management process
  • Deep understanding of both Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall delivery principles and the importance of SDLC (Software Development Process) and coding methodology principles

Experience: 8-9 years of experience in;

  • Customer relationship management to effectively manage communications, conflicts, and negotiations, identify operational issues/risks, recommend, and implement strategies to resolve problems, and monitor and measure client satisfaction.
  • Should have experience of design, development of SalesForce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience in project planning, resource planning and scheduling
  • Functional expertise of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or any other Marketing Automation Platforms
  • Experience of handling multi country, multi-lingual roll-out in the CRM space. Digital marketing roll-out experience is preferred
    • 6-8 years of Development/Deployment/project management experience.
    • 2-4 years of handling any SAAS based implementation projects

Certifications in SalesForce marketing cloud is an added advantage

Qualities:

  • Good communication skill and drive customer communication
  • Direct accountability for the overall success of the client projects within their portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the project roll-out / deployment / implementation and integration
  • Manage and allocate tasks using requirement management tools such as JIRA. Manage documentation on Confluence.
  • Need to manage team size of 6-8 members
  • Need to own project coordination within the SalesForce Marketing Cloud team as well with peripheral applications which have dependencies on SFMC implementation
  • Should be able to identify all the integration interfaces within the project
  • Should have working knowledge in SFMC inbound and outbound integration
  • Should be able to identify and communicate with the key resources of different interfacing technologies and establish Roles & Responsibilities clearly for deployment
  • Should be able to identify from regular status check of the project, and escalate any identified impediments for roll out to relevant stakeholders
  • Should be able to prepare and maintain deployment tracker
  • Need to know how to use Release Management tools
  • Clear functional understanding in Digital Marketing domain for various channels
  • Manage external stakeholders and communication with Salesforce AE’s and Client stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver against the Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Play a key role in managing the client relationship. Work closely with the client daily to ensure project progress and maintain constant open communication.
  • Review and analyze project scope and manage client expectations.
  • Prepare project schedule and client-facing/internal status reports, as required by the client and as defined by Ops Team.
  • Identify risks/issues and escalate to the necessary and appropriate team members and stakeholders.
  • Track and review individual and project team utilization and revise forecasted hours throughout the duration of the project.
  • Track and review project budget vs. actual project costs, including revenue responsibility across all projects.
  • Travel as required to build/maintain client satisfaction
